There has recently been quite a bit of work going on to improve the GtkTable
support in Gazpacho. I believe that this problem has been fixed in svn
trunk. It's easy to fetch the latest development version from svn if you
want to try it out. It's usually quite stable and you don't even have to
install it to try it.
