Hi Herwig
It's great to hear that you are interested in hacking on Gazpacho. Lorenzo
has already covered most things in his reply but I'll add a few comments.

Not really. I've planed to work on fixing bugs caused by our commands
(undoable actions) having side effects, but I never seem to have the time. I
have a few ideas about how to fix it and should probably try to summarize it
and send some info to the mailing list.

Windows.
There are also about 110 open bugs in bugzilla and plenty of things to do :)
Some of the bugs require an intimate knowledge of the code but there ought
to be a couple of easy ones as well. Triaging the unconfirmed bugs would
also be quite helpful but probably not as fun.
If you would like to work on some new things instead of fixing bugs the
template support might be interesting (not too difficult but not trivial
either). See #326671 for more info about this.
With whom should I coordinate and could somebody give me some starting

It's probably best to use bugzilla and this mailing list for coordination.
Don't be afraid to remind us if no one seems to answer, it's easy to forget
if you have a lot to do.
cheers and good luck
